Dental Awareness Month is February and March

A healthy mouthy is a healthy body and you can help your pet maintain positive oral health through the power of daily brushing, regular dental checkups and the right nutrition. Dental disease can be a silent disease in our pets- yes they feel pain but through instinctive behaviour they continue to eat. 80% of pets over the age of 3 have some form of oral disease. bad breath is one of the first signs of oral health problems that owner are aware of. There are others- yellow brown crust on teeth, bleeding gums, change in chewing or eating habits, tooth loss and abnormal drooling.
Remember we want to add more SMILES to their life.
When you come to visit during this month and March we can show you some of the tools we have to help prevent dental disease.
